Day 01: Arrival at Paro – Thimphu (65 km, 1 hour 20 minutes drive)
Fly into Paro either from Bangkok, Singapore, Kathmandu, Dhaka, Delhi or Kolkata. Representatives (guide and driver) from See Bhutan Travels will receive you from Paro international airport. Transfer to Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu – Gangtey (135 km, 5 hours drive)
Drive to Gnagtey via Wangduephodrang. At Gangtey visit to nearby villages and to Gangtey Monastery.
Day 03: Gangtey – Zasa (trekking)
Trekking distance : 15 km
Trekking time : 7 hours
Campsite location : Zasa
Campsite altitude : 3130 m
The trek starts from Gangtey. Today we will be trekking across Tsele la pass (3430m)
Day 04: Zasa – Chorten Karpo (trekking)
Trekking distance : 16 km
Trekking time : 7 hours
Campsite location : Near Chorten Karpo
Campsite altitude : 3430 m
Today we will be trekking across yet another pass; Shole la pass (3480 m).
Day 05: Chorten Karpo – Tikke Zampa to Wangduephodrang (trekking)
Trekking distance : 12 km
Trekking time : 5 hours
Campsite location : Zasa
Overnight : At hotel at Punakha
Our trek ends at Tikke Zampa. From here drive towards Punakha.
Day 06: Punakha – Paro (140 km, 4 hours drive)
Sites to visit at Paro: Paro Dzong/fortress, Museum and Kichu monastery.
Day 07: Departure
Your wonderful trekking tour of Bhutan comes to an end today. After breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at Paro international airport for you onward destination.
