Day 01: Arrival at Bhutan (Paro international airport) – Drive to Thimphu

Welcome to Paro, Bhutan’s only international airport. From here we will drive towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

 

Day 02: Thimphu sightseeing tour and drive back to Paro

We will spend our day going around and visiting few of the historically important sites located within Thimphu vicinity. Towards afternoon, drive back to Paro.

 

Day 03: Paro – Sang Choekor – Bumdra (trekking)

In the morning drive from your hotel towards San Choekor monastery from where the trek begins.

Trekking distance       : 7 km

Trekking time             : 2 hours

Campsite location       : Below Bumdra Monastery

Campsite altitude        : 3500 m

 

 

Day 04: Bumdra – Taktsang Monastery – Paro (trekking)

Trekking distance       : 15 km

Trekking time             : 5 hours

Overnight                    : At hotel in Paro

 

Day 05: Departure

Your amazing journey of Bhutan comes to an end today. We will transfer you to Paro international airport for your departure.

The total tour cost, minimum daily tariff, surcharges and Bhutan visa fees for booking “Bumdra Trek” are as follows:

Single Traveller: $1500
Dual travelers/2pax: $1120 Per Person
3 travelers: $1045 Per Person
4 Travelers: $970 Per Person
5 - 6 Travelers: $950 Per Person
7 and above Travelers: $935 Per Person
The above mentioned price covers the following:
  • Tour vehicles with experienced driver – (SUV cars for single and dual travelers, Toyota Mini buses for group of 3 – 9 travelers and Toyota coaster buses for group consisting 10 or more travelers).
  • All meals – (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
  • All accommodations in 3 star hotels/ guest houses in twin sharing basis – (Up gradation to 4 stars and 5 stars available on paying the extra premium).
  • Licensed English speaking tour guide – (Language speaking guides for French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai are available on paying extra premium of $60 - $100).
  • Sustainable Development fee of US $65 per person per night spent in Bhutan – (This money goes for a very good cause of reducing poverty, rural development, free medical services and free education for Bhutanese people).
  • Entrance fees to all tourist sites
